{Part Seven} The Lunar Template Series: The Last Quarter Moon Phase
This phase of the moon starts to wrap up the cycle. The Last Quarter Moon highlights making final adjustments and taking final actions, tying up loose ends and bringing things to completion, or to a “pause point“.
During this energy, in real time with the Moon, or as the energy comes up in your own personal cycle, practice gratitude and appreciation for what was exchanged during this cycle. It can be a conducive time for decluttering your physical space, cleaning things up and preparing for rest or relaxation or fun and adventure, whichever is tugging at your soul.

The beauty of practicing the invitations of this energy is regularly checking in with any projects, goals or intentions you have, seeing where you are, making those final tweaks, adjustments and actions, either deeming them complete and fulfilled, paused so you can wrap them up in the next cycle, or set on the shelf for another time further down the line.
This also creates the intentional and purposeful awareness of planning and preparing for rest time, taking a break, having some fun, or doing something that doesn’t require an expected result or outcome.
This time is asking you to check in and see what you really need on an inner level, and whether you need to do or be for the fun of it, for the love of it or for the hell of it, as the energy shifts into the Balsamic Moon phase.

As human beings on Earth at this time, especially as women and mothers, it’s so important to incorporate time and space for this winding down energy and giving yourself permission to start to slow down.
Of course, winding down is relevant to your specific experience and circumstance, and the essence of who you are innately, but there is a form of slowing down, resting or having fun that needs to be included in your monthly, if not weekly or daily, life.
The hamster wheel of motherhood is not an easy ride to step off of, but if you don’t do it intentionally for yourself, life will create a way that demands you step off, many times in the way of divorce, disease or derailing some area of life.
