Waning Gibbous Moon

{Part Six} The Lunar Template Series: The Waning Gibbous Moon Phase

This has been my favourite phase of the moon for so long. This phase, my friends, is what I call when the moon dust settles, and it’s really just a mix of all the peak inspiration and creative energy that the Full Moon can offer, but with a tad less intensity.

This phase allows you to truly see your most genuine self after moving through a micro-awakening during the previous phases leading to the Full Moon.

During this time you can see how things have landed after the Full Moon’s shuffle. Now is the time to honestly and genuinely release what you’re ready to release, not because you’re playing ‘hot potato’ with your emotions, but because you’re grounded in the truth that you’ve witnessed.

Taking stock of where you are and what you’re holding and then releasing from this higher, wiser sense of self is where real shifts occur, or at least it has in my personal experience.

The Full Moon has a thread of drama woven through it, and we all love it to some degree, but it can be a challenge to work with. So the Waning Gibbous phase allows us to observe that drama and decide on our own accord, not at the moon’s or our emotional whim, whether we’re going to participate in that drama of the moment, or participate in the directives that will support our ascension. (I’m not knocking the drama, it makes life interesting and it’s an amazing teacher!)

As you release, you’re going to make space to allow in what you truly desire. So this is also a great time to look at any limitations or challenges you have with receiving.

If you’re someone who struggles with accepting and receiving, EFT/Tapping is the most amazing tool to help you release the blocks or barriers, past experiences or that “hidden agenda” feeling you may have.

Below is a previous Tapping session that will help you unravel some of that entanglement.

Ultimately, the Waning Gibbous phase is a complimentary time to release on a deeper level and become an open channel of receiving as graciously as you give, with reverence and appreciation.
