Bridging Time & Energy Management

One of the quickest, most efficient, ways to build and strengthen an energy management practice is by taking a deeper look at how you view time and time management.

My intention as an Energy Management Mentor is to empower women by teaching them how to leverage their energy, within them and around them, so they can make the most of their time.

Beliefs about time, in my opinion, create the strongest limitations that women carry.

There’s not enough time, time is not on our side, blink and you’ll miss it, etc., etc., etc.

We all have our own lack and scarcity belief(s) about time.

What I’ve come to understand is that even if you have all the time in the world, if the energy isn’t there to back how time is spent, time doesn’t mean shit.

Women are innately guided by a monthly cycle, not the “standard” or “accepted”
24-hour clock.

The more women try to align their accomplishments or fulfillments by a daily schedule, the more we perpetuate an inner unacceptance, therefore, creating our own misalignment.

There are ways to bring ourselves back into harmony and fluidity with time and energy.

Following the Lunar Phases is one way that women can find an internal equilibrium.

Right off the bat, if you look at the full cycle of the moon, you’ll find that there are 8 different phases, 4 yin energy phases and 4 yang energy phases.

This alone is enough to guide and assist women in mending the strained relationship they have with doing, and being.

Many women are bound by the belief that their worth and enough-ness is determined by how much they’re doing, how full their days are, how efficiently and effectively they utilize every moment of the day and what they yield in output.

It’s all about the doing, and not enough about the being. My personal interpretations of yin/yang energy of the moon phases is this:

Yang energy is about generating energy towards output. This energy is internally cultivated and geared towards what you do and what you give. It’s about external output, focus and attention. Yang phases are more about the practice of initiating motivation and momentum in a forward or outward direction.

Yin energy is about “coasting” on the forward momentum cultivated during Yang energy phases. This is about taking your foot off the gas pedal and and allowing the momentum to carry you until you shift into the next Yang phase. Yin energy has a softer quality about it. It’s less about striving and attaining, and more about trusting and receiving.

Just as much is done during Yin phases as Yang phases, it’s just about your perception and belief.

Understanding how you personally work with the Yin/Yang dynamic alone can shift your perception of “enough” on a daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal basis.

The personal awareness and understanding is one of my favorite things to help women with. To learn more about Energy Management Mentoring, email info@meganbaceda.ca.

  1. […] the phases alternate between Yin and Yang energy. As I’ve talked about in past blogs, this is a built in reminder to tune in and practice giving and receiving, which is a lost concept […]
