Are you craving more communion within your body, mind and soul, but feel like you don’t know where to start?
Are you seeking some clarity and understanding for yourself and life around you, but it all seems too confusing and chaotic?
Are you looking to create more time and energy in your daily routine, but you feel like constantly running against the clock and calendar?
Maybe you feel like you just don’t have the patience to get this started…
If you have resistance and struggle with slowing your body, mind and emotional energy, this practice will help you become familiar with what that feels like for you.
I invite you to see it like this:
You’re not losing momentum, you’re gaining awareness.
When the mind and emotions are in alignment with the body, the essence of our soul is able to flow more freely through us, creating a more embodied experience of everyday life.
As a result, we begin to feel comfortable with the pace of life, because we’re playing a part in setting the pace.
These practices will be created with a combination of processing, releasing and healing resources, tools and modalities to create more harmony and alignment within your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual energy.
1. EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) aka Tapping:
This technique incorporates physically tapping on energy meridian points on the body, while speaking aloud your thoughts and emotions. This is such a powerful tool when it comes to soothing the nervous system and helping your body shift from fight-flight-freeze mode to rest-repose mode.
2. Meditation:
This technique has been a game-changer for me when it comes to opening up physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energy. Meditation is not just about finding stillness and quiet. In these practices, it’s about mingling with our “monkey mind”, versus trying to subdue or turn it off. Settling in with the body and observing current thoughts and emotions with a neutral filter allows you to become more responsive and less reactive.
3. Restorative Yoga:
We can begin to create more synergy and communion by including the body with restorative and supportive poses. Adding this resource brings another layer of visceral processing, releasing and healing. In combination with engaging rest-repose with EFT, when we physically place our body into super supported opening or grounding poses, we’re allowing the body to become apart of the experience, to further open the flow of energy, and our soul’s essence, more freely.
There’s no getting away from stress and struggle that presents in everyday life, but that doesn’t mean that you have to live in it 24/7.
